FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1. How does the "60-Minute Block" vs. "Per Finished Minute" pricing work?
Rates are calculated based on Finished Audio (the final length of the completed, edited master file, not the raw unedited files you send).
For full-length projects, production is billed in 60-minute blocks ($200 / $300 / $450).
For shorter or custom-length projects, production is prorated at our exact Per Finished Minute (PFM) rate ($3.33 / $5.00 / $7.50), subject to a 7-minute minimum floor per order.
2. What is the 7-Minute Minimum Floor?
To maintain standard studio setup, stem organisation, and mastering quality, short audio tracks under 10 minutes are billed at a flat floor rate:
Tier 1: $25.00 minimum
Tier 2: $35.00 minimum
Tier 3: $50.00 minimum
Anything over 00:07:00 finished minutes transitions directly into exact per-minute prorating.
3. What counts as "Raw Audio" vs. "Multi-track"?
Tier 1 (Essential Vocal) includes up to 2 distinct voice tracks (e.g., host and guest).
Tier 2 & Tier 3 support complex multi-track session setups including multi-mic dialogue, music beds, background textures, and sound FX layers.
If your project involves extensive dialogue repair or excessive raw takes requiring heavy manual arrangement, custom quotes are available.
4. What is included with ACX / Audible Compliance?
Every vocal project in Tier 1 and above is guaranteed to pass ACX/Audible technical compliance standards (RMS levels, peak limits, noise floor, and file formatting). If ACX requests technical adjustments, we resolve them at no additional cost.
5. How do revisions work?
Each project includes two rounds of minor revisions (such as level tweaks, music volume adjustments, or minor timing edits) within 14 days of initial delivery. Script re-reads, major structural re-edits, or new asset additions outside the original scope are billed at standard hourly rates.
6. How does the Monthly Partnership Retainer work?
$300/month retainer grants you up to 60 finished minutes per month across all three tiers (including Spatial 3D & Wellness).
Your first month is discounted to $255 (-15%).
Unused minutes do not roll over.
Any finished minutes past your 60-minute monthly capacity are billed at a discounted flat rate of $5.00 per minute.
7. Do you compose original custom music for meditations or hypnosis?
Tier 2 and Tier 3 include the mixing, ducking, and spatial 3D placement of client-supplied tracks or stock music. If you require original custom ambient composition or bespoke soundscapes composed from scratch, custom composition add-ons start at +$150 per track.
